My ideas come from a variety of themes such as home, family, identity and nature. There can be personal references, layered meanings, contrasts and subtle undertones within my paintings and drawings. Whether that is delving into the idea of uncanny houses, admiring the unusual beauty of poisonous mushrooms, focusing attention on a well used everyday object or capturing a memory or moment in time.
